ILSA is proud to announce that the Shearman & Sterling International Rounds will take place March 25-31 in Washington

D.C. at the Fairmont Washington Hotel (2401 M Street NW, Washington, DC, 20037).

Held in conjunction with the Annual Meeting of the American Society of International Law and the ILSA Spring Conference,

the Shearman & Sterling International Rounds are the culminating event of the year for the Jessup Competition.

Students from all over the world will come together to learn and compete in the spirit of promoting international law.

Now in its 48th year, the Jessup Competition is the world's largest event for law students.

Teams from more than 500 law schools have participated at some level in the competition this year. 

Over the past couple of months, teams have competed at qualifying competitions to earn the right to represent their

nation at the international level and to vie for the Shearman &  Sterling Jessup Cup.  ILSA expects more than

90 qualifying teams to attend the Shearman & Sterling International Rounds, which are judged by the world's

leading practitioners and scholars of international law.
